Bob has been very involved in the Real Estate Industry since 1979. Southern Properties, LLC was founded in 1987 to service our customers with professional assistance in their real estate desires.  

Bob was the 2004 President for the local Memphis Area Association of Realtors and worked very hard on starting the “Welcome Home Memphis” affordable housing partnership with City of Memphis and is very active in the Local, State and National Realtor Associations. I serve on the Committees, Board of Directors, Task Forces, and attend meetings and conventions to keep Southern Properties at the forefront of the industry to help all of our clients and customers with the most up to date information in the Real Estate Industry. Southern Properties currently has 14 agents that work in the various specialties. I am licensed in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. 

Southern Properties specializes in:

 1) Subdivision Sales of New Homes: We represent several prominent local homebuilders in subdivision sales with model homes open daily and agents on duty.

 2) Listing and Selling of Homes an Farms: We represent clients in listing and selling their homes and land and Buyers moving their families or just looking to invest in real estate. Most of our clients and customers are referred to us by our past customers and friends.

 3) Buying investment properties for resale and rental properties: I am a Real Estate investor in properties that I purchase and remodel for resale or rental. We have our own crew of contractors that remodel properties and maintain our rental properties. We have bought, remodeled, and sold over 300 homes in the last 14 years. We also keep a large rental portfolio that we manage and maintain for our retirement and college fund.

 4) Land Sales for Development: Consulting and sales for transitional land from raw land to development into residential and commercial developments throughout Shelby and Fayette County.

I am married to Wendy and we have two daughters, Megan Ray Turner and Madison Marie Turner. We enjoy living the country on some land with our cows and horses. We enjoy spending time with our other Kids, the yellow labs (Frosty and Hunter) down by the lake in our front yard. If its winter time you will find me with Hunter at the farm in Arkansas “Duck Hunting”.
